Other Ways to Support Scopus
Our students and College benefit greatly from the support of the community in various ways.
Sharing Your Simcha
Scopus is grateful to the many people who direct donations to the College in lieu of receiving personal gifts at the time of a Simcha or special occasion. Likewise, we thank those who honour others or occasions by making a gift to the school. Our students are especially encouraged to consider Tzedaka (charity) to the College to mark their Bar or Bat Mitzvah.
Endowments and Scholarships
For a gift that keeps on giving, please consider an endowment which can be managed by the Foundation. The interest from your donation may fund tuition subsidies, scholarships and special programs.
Wills and Bequests
Bequests are also welcomed by the Foundation.
Every Bequest makes an unique contribution to the future of our students, our school and to our community. Your Bequest may take the form of a specific sum of money, a percentage or residue of your Estate, a specific asset or an article of value. It can be directed to a specific purpose or managed by the Foundation. By informing us of your intentions we can show our appreciation during your lifetime.
You may donate library books and leaves for our Tree of Life, support Parents' Association activities and events or provide sponsorship for the College's performing arts program.
Donations to the Foundation, School Building Fund and Scholarship Fund are tax deductible. Residents of the United States may donate and receive an IRS deduction by giving through the British Schools and Universities Foundation.
