Enrolling at Scopus

Mount Scopus Memorial College is proud of our role educating the Melbourne Jewish Community.  Since 1949 more than 13,000 students have sought and received an outstanding Jewish and secular education.  Many former students have built on their days at Scopus to develop as leaders, in both their professional and community pursuits.  The second, third and now fourth generations of these families now enjoy the benefits of a Scopus education.

We nurture our students and watch them grow and develop from two and three year old children wanting to learn all about the world that they live in, to young adults graduating and ready to play their part in the shaping the world's future. In this way Mount Scopus looks forward to educating the next generation of Melbourne Jews to excel on their own personal journeys and within the Jewish and wider communities. Hear directly from our Old Collegians on how their time at Scopus has impacted them.

Mount Scopus also attracts many children from Melbourne families whose parents did not themselves attend the College, as well as new families from interstate and overseas who wish to offer their children the best Jewish and secular education available.

We believe that the key to a successful integration of new students and their parents lies in knowledge and familiarity, and therefore campus visits, information sessions and social opportunities are provided for entry at all levels.
